Introduction and questions to develop main topic.

Since the Italian astronomer Giovanni Virginio Schiaparelli discovered de canals on Mars back in 1877 , the search for water on the red planet has been the dream for a lot of scientists many of whom believe that if there is ice, there is water and so there may be life.

Mars is a hostile, arid planet swept by strong winds today, but research has shown that in the past there must have been water which carved the cannals and made oceans.

But, where has the water gone? visit this link for answers.
